CEVORA : a blended learning case
CEVORA / CEFORA was founded by the social partners of the Complementary National Joint Committee for Employees (Belgium) for the purpose of promoting training programming and employment opportunities.
Its activities are funded by contributions from every enterprise within the sector.
These contributions allow CEVORA to offer free of charge services to businesses and white-collar employees in the sector, as well as to job seekers.
As its training interaction with various and remote clients deals with distance management and time flexibility, CEFORA opted partly for a blended learning or e-learning approach where some parts of the training material and activities are web-based.
The choice for Dokeos allows CEVORA to convert existing classroom content (PowerPoint etc.), import existing SCORM-compliant material and generate new courses from the rich and structured training material created by hundreds of trainers since more than 15 years.
The Dokeos company provides the LMS and Oogie solutions in ASP, trains some of the trainers and assists CEVORA during the storyboarding and migration processes.
