The Council of Europe is the oldest international organisation working towards European integration, having been founded in 1949.

It has a particular emphasis on legal standards, human rights, democratic development, the rule of law and cultural co-operation. It has 47 member states with some 800 million citizens.

Today, after a technology forecasting phase where the tools of the market were compared and evaluated, the Council starts a pilot project.

The pilot phase starts with a needs analysis and ends with the evaluation of a first multimedia production by a dedicated committee.

The objective of the Council is to refurbish its training offer in order to  improve the mobility and skills ranking of its members.

The Dokeos solution and services were selected, adding to its 2 million users community. This new partnership is a serious opportunity to work at improving the software and refining the method.
